The Municipal Museum was founded in 1883 and since 1947 it has been situated in the Wenke house. It includes a gallery of famous natives, such as painter J. Šíma and sculptors Ot. Španiel and J. Wagner. Other exhibitions: Jaroměř and Josefov as seen by the painters of the 19th and 20th century, the building of the Wenke department store, J. Gočár’s furniture. Temporary exhibitions.
A history exhibition is located in the town hall in Josefov. The history of Jaroměř and Josefov – archaeological collections, a unique thousand-year-old dugout canoe, a model of medieval Jaroměř, models of fortress gates, military artefacts, etc.
